CEO of News channel that exposed Harish Rawat, arrested for extortion

Umesh Kumar Sharma, the CEO of Samachar Plus has been arrested from his residence for pressurizing one of the employees to do sting operations on prominent politicians by blackmailing them after he exposed CM Harish Rawat for taking bribe in the year 2016. Ayush Gaud, a journalist from the channel has lodged a complaint against Sharma. Sharma was arrested after that and a case has also been registered against him.
