Trump again went to China for its trade practices. On Wednesday he said, “China is purposely targeting its farmers, whom they know I love and respect. They are being vicious in which they will fail. We were being nice - until now!” Farmers have been a target in the recent conflict over trade policies, as other countries seek to react for US duties on Chinese goods and on steel and aluminium imports from EU, Canada, and Mexico.
