US Secretary of State Antony Blinken referred to China's actions in the East and South China Seas as aggressive and repressive. Blinken was speaking to a roundtable of Japanese journalists where he accused Beijing of "raising tensions" in the region by its actions aimed at Taiwan. "Japan has real interest in what happens with regard to Taiwan and Taiwan's straits," the State Secretary told the reporters.
