Despite repeated requests from India, China has once again blocked the UN proposal to designate Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Masood Azhar as a 'global terrorist.' China extended the technical hold on the proposal, backed by the US, France and the United Kingdom and supported by India, for three months until November 2. Azhar is wanted by India in connection with the brazen terror attack in Punjab's Pathankot last year.
