China has warned United States to cancel its plan of selling advanced weaponry to Taiwan worth more than a billion dollars. China’s defense ministry said in a statement that the arms deal will have "serious repercussions for relations between China and the U.S. and their armed forces and peace and stability in the Taiwan Strait.” It further said that China will be compelled to fight back if the arms sale deal is not cancelled.
