China to keep its embassy in Afghanistan, increase humanitarian aid: Taliban spokesperson

Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen said that the Chinese government has promised to keep its embassy in Afghanistan open. According to Shaheen, China also promised to increase humanitarian aid to the war-torn country. The Taliban spokesman wrote on Twitter that Abdul Salam Hanafi, a member of Taliban political office in Doha, held talks with Wu Jianghao, Deputy Foreign Minister of the People's Republic of China.
