China-Pakistan aim to counter western narratives through joint media house

In a one of its kind move, China and Pakistan have decided to set up a joint media house to counter the West-centric narrative of media. As per the reports, China and Pak will set up a television channel to achieve “information dominance”. A similar attempt was made by Pakistan in 2019 to launch an Islamic TV channel in collaboration with Turkey and Malaysia. The plan, however, never got executed.
