China's “assertive behaviour" challenge rules-based international order: NATO

In a major statement, NATO leaders declared the actions by China as a constant security challenge. The statement by NATO leaders read, China’s goals and “assertive behaviour present systemic challenges to the rules-based international order and to areas relevant to alliance security”. The leaders also expressed their concerns about China's “coercive policies”. China's use of disinformation was also a talking point in the summit.
