3 buses have been set ablaze to protest against Citizenship Act. Police used batons to disperse the protesters. The demonstrators blocked Mathura Road opposite New Friends Colony as told by the police. Traffic from Badarpur and Ashram Chowk was diverted to alternative routes because of public outrage against the bill. Delhi traffic police department also tweeted regarding the road closures due to the demonstration.
