Citizenship Bill re-introduced in Parliament after Lok Sabha votes in favour

Union Home Minister Amit Shah introduced the Citizenship Amendment Bill in the Parliament amid the huge oppose from the opposition. 293 votes were in favour of the tabling of Citizenship Amendment Bill in Lok Sabha whereas only 82 votes were against introduction of Bill in the house. The opposition leaders termed the bill as "unconstitutional" and cited the Article 14 of the constitution. Shah rejected the claims of opposition.
