Eyeing a success in the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said "the condition of Muslims has become like a ‘band baja party’ in a marriage procession where they are first asked to play music, but are made to stand outside on reaching the wedding venue." Owaisi underlined that despite being 19% of the state's population, there is not a single Muslim leader in the state.
