For the first time in its history, the country's oldest party Congress is going to elect its new president using the digital process. The party will issue ID cards to AICC delegates. Nearly 1500 AICC delegates will take part in the internal elections where senior leader Rahul Gandhi is expected to be elected as the new president. Everyone's eye will be on any new candidate that emerges to challenge Mr. Gandhi.
