Controversy created out of an 'Akhand Bharat' map by Uttarakhand's chief minister

Pushkar Singh Dhami, the BJP's new Uttarakhand CM, sparked controversy even before taking the oath because of a map of India he tweeted 6 years ago. Parts of Ladakh and territories now held by Pakistan were left off the Indian map, delineated by a white line on a red "Akhand Bharat" backdrop. The incoming Chief Minister has stated that the 2022 Assembly elections would be a "challenge" that he will "transform into an opportunity."
