Leo Varadkar, Irish PM who graduated with a medical degree, has rejoined the medical register to help the health service during this COVID-19 crisis. He has offered his services for 1 session a week in areas that come under his scope of practice. His partner, his 2 sisters are also practising health workers & he too wanted to help in some way. As per data, there have been 4,994 confirmed cases & 158 COVID-19 related deaths.
