Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa, in a display of utter irresponsibility, ignored his own government’s advisory when he attended large-scale wedding celebrations of the daughter of a Bharatiya Janata Party MLC in Belagavi on Sunday. As per police sources, Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai was also among hundreds of guests, who attended the wedding event of the daughter of Mahantesh Kavatagimath.
