Do not cross "red line": China warns US after US envoy arrives in Taiwan
China issued a warning to the United States after US envoy John Hennessey-Niland arrived in Taiwan. China asked US to not cross the "red line" after Niland's arrival on the island. John Hennessey-Niland, the US ambassador to the pacific island nation of Palau, accompanied a delegation led by Palauan president Surangel Whipps. The delegation arrived in Taiwan for a five-day trip and it didn't go well with China.
