Do not support India's proposal at WTO: Republican lawmakers to Joe Biden

As many as 12 Republican lawmakers have urged US President Joe Biden to not support a proposal by India and South Africa before the World Trade Organisation for temporarily waiving off some Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights rules amid the coronavirus pandemic. The Republicans wrote to US Trade Representative Katherine Tai and said that giving up intellectual property rights will "harm innovation and production".
