Former US President Donald Trump has been sued by US Capitol Police over the violence that took place in Capitol Hill on January 6. As many as seven US Capitol Police officers filed a lawsuit against Trump and members of right-wing extremist groups on Thursday. The Capitol Hill cops have held Trump and his supporters responsible for the January 6 attack. Trump is facing several lawsuits in connection with the violence.
