Finally putting an end to the speculations, the name of the pro tem speaker of the 17th Lok Sabha has been announced. Dr. Virendra Kumar, Madhya Pradesh MP from the BJP has been appointed as the speaker. The President Ram Nath Kovind will administer him the oath. Earlier, it was speculated that the former Union Minister of Women & Child Development, Maneka Gandhi will take the role.
