Ecuador government officials and the country's indigenous groups will meet to end a 2 week-long violent protest. Protesters have demanded the return of fuel subsidies which the government stopped as austerity measures. President Lenín Moreno may reassess the subsidies, but won’t repeal them. The increasing unrest has left most of the capital Quito in chaos after Moreno announced a curfew enforced by the military.
