Every village will have broadband by 2019: Telecom Minister

Speaking at the 'Ghazipur Samagam’ programme about the infrastructure upgradation, Telecom Minister Manoj Sinha said that the government targets to link 2.5 lakh village panchayats with high-speed broadband under the BharatNet project by 2019. He claimed not even a single village in the country will be left without broadband. He said that eastern UP is the point of focus as PM Narendra Modi is the MP from Varanasi.
