Ex-India president Pratibha Patil honored with Mexico's highest civilian award

The previous president of India, Pratibha Patil has been honored in Mexico with the highest civilian award given to foreigners, "Orden Mexicana del Aguila Azteca" on Saturday. The Ambassador of Mexico to India, Melba Pria, presented the award to Patil, who managed to create history by becoming India's first female President (2007-2012), at a special ceremony held in the MCCIA Bhavan, Pune.
