Extending lockdown Putin admits PPE shortage in Russia

Russia President Vladimir Putin has revealed there is a shortage of protective kit for medical workers as the country continues to battle the coronavirus. Putin also warned the peak of the infection rate hasn’t yet been reached and people must remain vigilant. Russia's lockdown to contain the spread of Covid-19 was extended until 11 May. It reported more than 93,000 coronavirus cases with 867 recorded deaths.
