First International Solar Alliance took place in India

The first founding conference of International Solar Alliance (ISA) took place in New Delhi where PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed the measures to combat climate change. The summit was joined by United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and Bangladesh President Abdul Hamid. It is the first treaty-based intergovernmental organisation in India.
