Former Gujarat CM Madhavsinh Solanki passes away at 94

Senior Congress leader and former Gujarat Chief Minister Madhavsinh Solanki passed away at the age of 94. Solanki also donned the hat of the External Affairs Minister during his political career. He came to power in Gujarat in the 1980s on the KHAM (Kshatriya, Harijan, Adivasi, Muslim) formula. He was a lawyer by profession. He became Gujarat CM briefly for the first time in 1976. He again became the CM in 1981.
