Former Jharkhand Minister Anosh Ekka's property seized by ED in connection with money laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate attached property worth Rs. 625,000 of former Jharkhand minister Anosh Ekka in connection with a money laundering case. Ekka was sentenced to seven years of rigorous imprisonment by a Ranchi special court in the case. The court also ordered the former minister to pay a fine of Rs. 2 crore after he was found guilty. If Ekka fails to pay the fine, one year will be added to his prison sentence.
