A major controversy was sparked after former Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy tweeted a collage of BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya and a dog, in an apparent attempt to compare the BJP leader with the canine. "Vodafone in West Bengal again" Roy captioned the image. The image was posted by the Tripura governor in response to a tweet by a user who said Vijayvargiya was still the BJP Bengal in charge despite the poor poll performance.
