Gandhi family lose SPG security cover as Intel rules out possibilities of 'direct threat': Report

Gandhi family is likely to lose its Special Protection Group (SPG) security cover after the intelligence agencies prepared a report that said that there is no 'direct threat' to the members of the Gandhi family. The SPG currently gives protection to the UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and her children, Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. They will now get Z-plus security by one of the Central Armed Police Forces.
