Germany and Russia condemn US pipeline sanctions

Germany and Russia have condemned the sanctions approved by US President Donald Trump regarding a gas pipeline between the two countries. The sanctions aim at firms building Nord Stream 2, an undersea pipeline to allow Russia to increase gas exports to Germany. US consider it a security risk but Germany have accused US of interfering in internal affairs, as Russia and EU officials also criticized the sanctions.
