Amid the ongoing protest over the CAA, the Goa Legislative Assembly has become the first to pass a 'congratulatory motion' in support of the CAA. State CM Pramod Sawant mentioned that this reflected the real gratitude of people of Goa towards the big decision taken by the PM-Modi led government. The state Assembly on Monday passed the motion congratulating PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for enacting CAA.
