Harvard University has decided to reject $8.7 million in federal coronavirus relief just like Stanford, Princeton and Yale universities which also didn’t accept the huge sum in federal funding following the growing scrutiny of wealthy colleges. Harvard admitted it has significant financial challenges amid the pandemic but will turn down the money because intense focus by politicians may undermine the relief program.
