It was on Friday when the Veteran Karnataka politician HD Deve Gowda said that there is no doubt that there will be a mid-term election. He said it at a time when the Congress-Janata Dal (Secular) coalition is facing a tough time after its upsetting defeat in the recently held general election. The ex-prime minister then clarified that he was talking about the local body elections and not the state elections.
