Honduras ready to open trade office in China to acquire Covid-19 vaccines

In a major shift from its earlier stance, Honduras, a close ally of Taiwan, has expressed its willingness to open a trade office in China in exchange for coronavirus vaccines. Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez said poorer nations are still waiting for coronavirus vaccine doses while rich nations continue to hoard the vaccines. Honduras government has also urged Taiwan to help in establishing talks with US for vaccine delivery.
