The Hong Kong Open tennis tournament, which was supposed to run from October 5 to 13, has now been postponed indefinitely due to the ongoing protests, now entering their fourth month, in the city. Hong Kong has been devastated by increasingly violent protests for months, triggered by a controversial extradition bill which has now been withdrawn but the protests have continued demanding democratic reform.
