According to Nielsen data, a whopping 57.9 million people watched the vice presidential debate between United States vice president Mike Pence and Democrat Kamala Harris. People from all over the world watched the 90-minute long debate on across 18 networks. The viewership was 56% higher than four years ago when 37 million people tuned to their TV sets to watch Mike Pence debate Democrat Tim Kaine.
