India at 141 on Global peace Index, Iceland tops the ranking

India has slipped 5 positions in the Global Peace Index, and now it stands at 141 out of 163 countries. Afghanistan is the least peaceful country, replacing Syria while Iceland is the most peaceful country in the world, followed by New Zealand, Austria, Portugal and Denmark. Afghanistan, Syria, South Sudan, Yemen and Iraq are the least peaceful countries. Pakistan has ranked 153 in the index while Bangladesh has ranked 101.
