India might overtake Germany to become the 4th largest economy in 2026: Report

According to a recent report by the UK-based CEBR, India is expected to surpass Germany to become the 4th largest economy in 2026 and Japan to become 3rd largest in 2034. India is also set to reach a GDP of USD 5 trillion by 2026. However, dark clouds over the economy are leading many to question the maintainability of the target. Japan, Germany and India will battle for 3rd position over the next 15 years as per CEBR.
