US president Trump is planning to terminate trade benefits for India. He said that India has not assured the US to provide reasonable and equitable access in its market while it enjoyed zero tariffs on $5.6 billion exports to the US. He said that India is a high tariff country and that is why he wants a reciprocal tax. India, however, said that they have no plans to impose any retaliatory tariff on US goods.
