Indian Deaflympics athletes protest at Delhi Airport

The Indian Deaflympics contingent made the country proud winning 5 medals, including gold, at the 2017 Deaflympics held in Samsun, Turkey, but the government apathy towards the hearing-impaired athletes led the team to protest at the IGI Airport. The contingent refused to leave the airport upon their arrival at 5:00 am, as not a single official from the Sports Authority of India or sports minister were present to receive them.
