The reports of possible trade deal talks between India and Taiwan have been unsettling China and it was evident in a statement by the Chinese Foreign Ministry. The Chinese Foreign Ministry advised New Delhi to approach its relations with Taipei while adhering to the 'One China Principle'. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said 'One China Policy' is the political basis for China to develop ties with other countries.
