Indira canteens launched To Serve Breakfast, dinner at Rs. 5, 10

The Karnataka govt's ambitious Indira Canteens, which will offer breakfast for Rs.5 and dinner for Rs.10, was inaugurated today. Congress VP Rahul Gandhi will inaugurate the 1st canteen in Bengaluru. Only 101 canteens start services today in 101 civic wards. More will be opened in the remaining 97 wards from October 2 to mark the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.The government even launched Indira canteen app.
