Odisha govt faces widespread criticism as an official booklet described Mahatma Gandhi's death as an accident. A 2-page govt booklet "Aama Bapuji: Eka Jhalaka" presented a brief account of his teachings, works & links with Odisha and also stated that he died due to accidental reasons on Jan 30, 1948, at Delhi's Birla House. The govt said it was a mistake & there was no intention of giving wrong information to children.
