Former Punjab Congress chief Sunil Jakhar slammed Navjot Singh Sidhu for stepping down as the president of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee days after getting appointed to the post. "No amount of grand standing can justify this breach of trust placing his benefactors in a peculiar predicament," Jakhar tweeted. Earlier, Sidhu wrote to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, in which he said that he will continue to serve the party.
