J&K, PoK authorities agree to resume cross-LoC travel,trade

Authorities of J&K and POK agreed to resume cross-LOC trade from next week, Official said. The trade ties were suspended since July 21, following the recovery of 66.5-kg of heroin and brown sugar in Salamabad from a truck entering from PoK. Both sides also agreed to resume cross-LoC travel using the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route. While the travel route would be resumed from forthcoming Monday, the trade would be facilitated from Tuesday.
