Joint India-Nepal army exercise ‘Surya Kiran-X’ begins

To enhance defence co-operation relations with Nepal, an Indo-Nepal Joint Military exercise ‘Surya Kiran-X’ commenced today at the western part of the Himalayan country. It is the 12th edition of the exercise. The exercise will have around 300 troops from each side, focussing on counter-terror operations. It will culminate on September 16. Surya Kiran series of exercises are held alternately in India and Nepal.
