In a viral video, an Uttar Pradesh Chief Development Officer is shown chasing down and severely assaulting a journalist in Unnao who was supposedly covering social work. A local BJP official also assaulted the journalist, who has been named Krishna Tiwari. Tiwari said that when he went to report from a polling station in the Bangarmau region of the district, he was beaten up by Chief Development Officer (CDO) Divyanshu Patel.
