Junior minister Douglas Ross quits over Dominic Cummings’ lockdown actions

Douglas Ross, the under secretary of State for Scotland has resigned after Dominic Cummings’ defence of his trip to Durham county during the COVID19 lockdown. Ross said that the vast majority of the people don’t share the senior aide’s view of govt guidance. He said, he has constituents who couldn’t say goodbye to their loved ones and followed the govt’s guidance and Cummings’ move can send a wrong message to people.
