A group of Kashmiri Pandits staged protests backing Narendra Modi in front of The Washington Post office against their "one-sided coverage" of the recent incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. The newspaper had claimed its coverage is fair and accurate. The Indian government abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution which ended Jammu and Kashmir's special status and divided the state into two Union Territories last month.
