Kenya to reopen embassy in Somalia "as soon as possible"

Kenya has decided to reopen its embassy in Somalia "as soon as possible". Nairobi said this while responding to a proposal from the neighbouring country for the normalization of diplomatic relations. The Kenyan embassy in Somalia was closed in December after Somalia broke off diplomatic relations unilaterally. This was in response to "Kenya's recurrent and blatant political violations against Somalia's sovereignty".
