Kim Jong-un warms young North-Koreans not to use 'South's slang'

Young people in North Korea have been instructed to stick to North Korea's "superior" language, which is based on the dialect used in Pyongyang, the capital city. The warning came as officials were prompted to fear that the South was strongly influencing the younger generation's language and dialect. The warning was issued in an editorial in the official publication of the governing Workers' Party on Sunday.
